Titre : Quantitative imaging of cerebral vascular and metabolic health: applications and caveats

Résumé : Magnetic Resonance Imaging can be used to measure hemodynamics and oxidative metabolism non-invasively and quantitatively. Here, I will present results using these techniques to probe the changes associated with aging and stroke. However, there are indications that the relationships between these measures and vascular health is complex, and that sex, autoregulation and cardiorespiratory fitness could affect these measures.
