Titre : DISENTANGLING THE DYNAMICS OF NEURONAL COMMUNICATION WITH ELECTROCHEMISTRY
Résumé : The secretion of neurotransmitters, a mechanism known as exocytosis, is crucial to neuronal communication and can be quantitatively studied, with high time resolution and sensitivity, using electrochemical techniques. In this seminar, the impact of the extracellular matrix on the exocytotic fluxes will be highlighted, and an approximation of the diffusion coefficient of dopamine at the cell surface will be discussed.
